Last Human

Last Human is the first AVN I started actively working on. Originally, I was teamed up with another developer named Nope (NopeGames). As time went by, Nope had real-life matters to attend to and said that I should keep working on my own. I did that and started creating Serenity.

A year later, after getting closer to the end of Serenity, I looked at the code that we had for Last Human and I liked the idea so much, I decided it would be my next project. With Nope’s blessing, I’ve taken over the project and already have the base game built and about half of the first release written. I decided to rewrite what I had written back then. But there is still a ton of work to do before I release anything. I intend for the first version to have plenty of content. Since I will still be working on Serenity when the pilot episode of LH is released, I’ll probably work on both games bi-monthly until Serenity is finished.

Last Human will focus on a character that is based on another one I created for a sci-fi story (that story is one that only a few people have seen, and Last Human will be written from much of it). You’ll be able to give him his first name, his last name is ‘Trent’. Let’s call him ‘Mike’ for the purpose of this article.

The land around Cape Canaveral was drastically changed after the start of an ice age and several years of gradually colder temperatures.
Home base was built by Carver Trent and completed just before his death. Now it is home to his son.

Mike Trent, the son of a famous and extremely intelligent scientist, is left alone on the planet after Earth’s core slows, causing a new ice age. At a very young age, Mike was in a major accident at his father’s lab. It nearly took his life. But his father had developed a special metal called diranium that was harder and lighter than titanium, and emitted healing properties. Long story short, with help from tiny nanobots, Mike’s bones were coated in this new metal. Diranium gives him very fast healing and inhuman speed and agility. But it has a drawback. His great power and speed drains him quickly. And no, razor sharp blades won’t burst out from his knuckles, LOL.

So, I know what you’re thinking… “Oh he’s just copying from Wolverine”. Uh, no. Honestly, I created this character and only later realized the slight similarity to Wolverine. So, let’s put that behind us and move on.

(Following will contain spoilers for the first episode)
Mike outlived the rest of the human race because of his self-healing abilities, and also because of the technically advanced base his father built for them to do research. But there is also Zeena, an artificial intelligence that can interface directly with the diranium in his body (a fact that Mike doesn’t find out about until later). Zee protects and takes care of Mike. She has direct control over every aspect of the base, which is what was previously known as Cape Canaveral.

Alexis (Ship Security Chief)

Before the rest of humanity died, NASA and other space programs from around the world came together to build a ship, called the Aurora, that is now in orbit around Earth. With the rise of nano technology, nearly 80% of the ship was constructed by thousands of nanobots that were controlled from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The nanobots kept working, completing the ship after humans were gone. Now Mike’s plan is to get off the planet and get to that ship… in search of a new life away from the dying planet.

Natalie (Ship Engineer)

With help from Zee, Mike has been outfitting an old rocket, preparing it for docking with the Aurora as well as liftoff from the planet. But just as he is planning his launch, Zee detects a strange energy reading not far from the base. This meant that he would have to go outside, into the brutal cold to get a closer look. What he finds there will be his first contact with a lifeform outside Earth, a tsundere Neko named Lexi.

(Releases and other information)
Last Human will be a very large project that hopefully many of you will enjoy for at least several years. It will be released in separate “builds” (executables) and each update will be the next episode. At between 8 and 10 episodes, that season will end, and a new build will be started for the next season. Much like a series you would binge. The idea is to have a long lasting, enjoyable sci-fi series with some adult content here and there, while keeping downloads small and manageable.

Alaina (Ship Phisician)

Unlike Serenity, Last Human will not have a purely sexual plot. But it will have sexual content (sexy Nekos, hello?). But you won’t see sex in the first episode, and possibly not even the second. No, this one will stretch out the anticipation. This story will be about a Captain being drawn into a situation where he ends up leading a crew on a Neko-filled starship to find a new life. During the course of that, they will face various adventures and interesting phenomenon. They will face personal situations that test their relationships with each other. And one by one, they will grow closer to Captain Trent, the Last Human, who just may end up with an amazing harem.
